A debate between John Rodkin and myself over whether CPC advertising is a good business model.
Maybe it isn't click fraud, but you'd think a former Google employee would be more sensitive to an advertiser's concerns. He clicked on an AdWords ad just for the heck of it.
I decided to compromise on Für Elise. I'll just play it slowly once per day so I don't forget how to play it, but I won't try to increase the tempo or otherwise polish it. That will give me more time for other things, such as sightreading. To improve, I borrowed a couple of sing-along songbooks from the Mtn View library. These were the simplest songbooks available that day. Most of the songs are somewhat beyond my (effective) sightreading ability, but well within my learning ability. If I can find some easier songbooks at a used music store, I'll use those instead. I know some places I can find simpler new books, but I'm trying not to spend money unnecessarily.
