I was hoping to spend a leisurely Saturday morning relaxing, but there was some fallout from the machine moves that took up most of the morning. After getting that out of the way, doing my usual rounds, and checking craigslist for job openings, I barely had enough time to eat lunch before our performance. We sang in a dining hall that was very warm. My throat wasn't feeling that great due to the cold, and the room just dried me out.
After the performance, I decided to head over to Vallco since it wasn't that far away. I figured I'd try to do a little holiday shopping. The mall wasn't too crowded. I wonder if people are shopping online instead.
I awoke to the news of Saddam Hussein's capture on Sunday. This is good news, I suppose, although Iraq is still a mess, imho. Well, perhaps this will give the stock market a lift. Anyway, I tried to find some other gifts in some catalogs, but I was really tired, so I decided to take a nap. I woke up a couple of hours later, fixed something to eat, and thought of another possible present I can buy. Then I practiced some piano before writing this entry.
