The Chopin prelude has been quite difficult so far. It requires movement of my middle,
ring, and pinky fingers with the others held down. There is a measure where five notes are
played, including two with the thumb on black keys. Too bad I won't have a regular lesson
next Monday, because I think I need some help with my hand position. (There will be a
master class, and possibly a new piece for 2+ players for some of us to learn. My teacher
is thinking of making ensemble pieces a performance requirement.)
