classic cylon

welcome to camazotz

A Wrinkle in Time was on TV last night. I didn't find out about it until the last 15 minutes of the movie. I was actually thinking about the book a few days ago. It was one of my favorites as a kid. I don't have a copy of it any more because I donated it to my mother's grade school library. I looked for it in BookBuyers but couldn't find it.

In other news, I was able to schedule a meeting with one of the Right Management consultants. This went better than the workshops I've had so far. Since I'm not trying to change careers and have a good idea of what I want to do, she suggested some other workshops I could take. She agreed with me that I should focus on bringing my skills up to date. She also suggested I try to find someone to give me practice technical interviews.

I had a chance to talk to Andrew from the NOC after the meeting. He hasn't been going to the workshops but has been using their office for email, fax, etc. He seems to like going to the office. I might be more inclined to go to the office regularly if it were not so far away from where I live.

My teacher says it's ok for me to work on Spinning Song now. I will continue to try to get Für Elise and Señorita Elisa up to tempo.

Would write more but I have to get to sleep ...
