I haven't written much about piano lately. I still practice, mostly on the weekends, because that's when I have the most time available. As part of my holiday season prep, I've decided to try to learn Sleigh Ride and Vince Guaraldi's Christmas is Coming. A year ago, Sleigh Ride would have been much more difficult, but thanks to the Dozen a Day exercises I've been doing, it's approachable. It seems I actually tried to learn it once, based on some fingering suggestions written in my former teacher's handwriting.
