ho ho ho

Santa was good to me. Equinix made me an offer that I accepted. I start on 7 January. I spent a lot of time last week filling out forms that they FedExed to me.

Going back to work will be difficult. It'll take time getting used to regular work hours, meetings, deadlines, etc. There will be a steep learning curve. I'm still spending a lot of time reading RFCs, reviewing programming stuff, following mailing lists, and so forth. I hope everything works out.

This morning some folks from chorus went caroling at Lytton Gardens in Palo Alto. Afterwards, I was tired, so decided to go home and relax for the rest of the day.
