In the continuing saga of my job search, I have a phone screen with Cloudmark tomorrow. This time, the drama is about the commute. The recruiter seems to be concerned about my having to take CalTrain to SF. This has come up at least twice – first in his original response to my application, and most recently in our last phone conversation. Since people have been commuting by rail from Santa Clara county to SF for over a century, I don't see why this is an issue. Furthermore, accessibility to CalTrain was a selling point on the job posting.
