I'm still interested in the IETF pcn WG but have started to look into the capwap WG a bit. (FYI, mrw42 is one of the chairs.) 802.11/WiFi seems to be a hot field these days. Even AT&T (Cingular) is getting into the game now, building out hotspots.

There was a job posting at Cisco a week or so ago for an 802.11 software engineering position. I don't qualify for it (yet) because I have little (recent) experience in what they're looking for. However, I had forgotten that I have some RF (radio frequency) knowledge. Some of it came from MIT EE classes, some from SRI work, some from audio engineering classes (when I wanted to switch careers), some from working with the KZSU engineering department, and some from general interest in radio. Sometimes I forget that I knew something about something if I haven't needed to use it in a long time.
