Yahoo's woes

Longish article from Wired stating that Yahoo blew it. Paints a rather bleak picture of a company torn by politics, etc. An interesting note is that Overture (which had bought AltaVista before being acquired by Yahoo) lost market value after the acquisition. Makes one wonder what would have happened if Overture had refused Yahoo's offer. (Perhaps those of us laid off by Yahoo would've been able to keep our jobs.)
