I decided not to do the medal ball after all. My teacher wasn't too disappointed. Several of her other students have canceled. I actually feel relieved about this, because I'll have an open weekend before my chorus' performance season begins, and my shoulder can continue to heal. It's better than it's been in awhile, but not quite 100%. I'm off the ibuprofen for now; we'll see how things go.

In piano news, I asked my teacher last week if she had affiliates or colleagues that could see me on a part-time basis when I can't meet with her. I haven't heard back from her yet.
