I finished the peering paper (except for a couple of sections that are out of date). Now it's on to reviewing routing protocol principles before diving into BGP.

It is odd sometimes what I remember about things I used to do. If someone asked me to explain split horizon (until late last night), I wouldn't remember, but I would think of a conversation I had with someone about it. Or I might remember going to an old-fashioned ice cream shoppe sixteen years ago near the border of Venice and Santa Monica and bringing an OSPF version 2 draft with me. My grad advisor asked me to take a look at it.
